I know we all left EC ages ago but.
My little brother went to the open day today.
At the end of his speech the headmaster set a ‘challenge’ for the kids - somewhere in the school, he said, there is a plaque with the names of the members of ‘Radiator Club’ on. The first person to tell him how many names were on the plaque would get a prize.
We’re famous!
So my brother had the intelligence to ring me and ask but he wasn’t the first with the answer. The headmaster, charitable soul that he is, said he could have a prize if he could say how many girls were on the plaque, my brother replied, ‘One, her name’s Natalie, she’s my brother’s old girlfriend..’
I think PJ suspected some cheating but nevertheless he was rewarded with an EC bookmark, an item I’m sure he’ll treasure for eternity..
