Been in Whitchurch for three months now, have nearly nearly reached Christmas. So far I’ve learned -
I’m no good at cooking
Whitchurch is an arse to get back to on the train
I can be at work within twelve minutes of waking up (including the seveneight minute walk)
How to cook carrots
Making shirts go pink is easier than first imagined
Everybody below the age of ~30 smokes
Whitchurch has a cracking drug scene
Pubs are good
Ebay is king (and great for passing time at work too)
Amazon is queen
Charlton are always going to be rubbish
Computer users are surprisingly stupid
It’s possible to ‘lose the alphabet’ in the company program
Bread is good to eat if you scrape the blue bits off
Having money is good (how did I survive on £25 a month?!)
So as you can see these have been a productive few months .. still got another nine left. Perhaps I’ll have managed to cook Shepherds Pie by then..
