I asked my boss why he had two big lumps of sugar in every cup of tea and coffee he drank.
‘Got to keep up appearances!’ he replied, stroking his extremely round belly.
He’s an odd’un, always shouting ‘Clucking bells!’ and ‘Be off!’ at his computer or the phone or whatever takes his fancy really.
And every time he goes to meeting he leaves with, ‘I’m going outside, I may be some time,’ .. it was funny the first time .. now we’re on the eighth or so.
