Last.fm Historical Charts v2

I updated my historical charts program to allow album and track charts, make it utf8 compatible and give it a graphical overhaul too, hurrahs all round.

Same process as before - when you first create each kind of chart it’ll take a while to fetch your data, subsequent charts will be created a whole lot faster. Eventually I’ll make a script to purge the data stored for anybody who hasn’t used the program in a couple of months so keep popping back if you get fed up with the waits.

As always comments are welcome. Oh and suggestions for a better name too..

Hey, like the new update but is there any chance you could make it show how many tracks were listened to in a particular year again? It might still be there but I can’t seem to find it- was handy knowing that I listened to twice as much in 2005 than 2007.

Yay! for the new version of the Historical Charts. It contains both features I missed (tracks and speical character support) now :) I use your system every now and then and find it very handy for some extra stats. Keep up the good work!

i’ve been looking for something like this! it’s amazing man. it’s useful for me since i needed a kind of monthly chart for a personal project. i had to convert the data from xml to html for every weekly chart to make up for a whole month which was a pain in the ass really. i don’t know much about programming so this is exactly what i needed. by the way, could it be possible to add some kind of format so the data can be manipulated? let’s say, txt at least?
